FTC - 12 months

Location: Hybrid (with 1 day a week in the London office required)

Employment Type: Full-Time - Fixed Term Contract

Salary: Up to £80k plus benefits including bonus

We're looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a growing Engineering function and play a key role in delivering large-scale technology transformation programmes for a well-known retail brand. This is not a traditional Business Analyst role. You'll work closely with Solution Architects, Engineering Leads, Delivery Managers, Product Teams, and Business Stakeholders to ensure technical solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

You'll be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and technical teams. If you enjoy understanding how systems work together, solving complex problems, and influencing technology decisions, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you'll act as the bridge between business requirements and technical delivery, helping teams understand not only what needs to be built, but why it is needed and how it fits into the wider technology landscape.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
