Overview
Our client is seeking a consultant to support the delivery of strategic data and process improvement initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
This role combines hands-on business and data analysis with project delivery responsibilities. The successful consultant will work closely with Engineering and Business stakeholders to analyse data sourced from multiple systems, understand complex data models, drive requirements gathering, and manage delivery across a series of project workstreams.
The consultant will also support a process automation initiative, requiring the ability to understand technical designs, review calculation logic, and engage confidently with developers and technical teams.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of business, data, and technology.
What You Will Work On
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse data sourced from multiple applications and platforms.
- Develop a detailed understanding of complex data models, relationships, and dependencies.
- Partner with Engineering and Business stakeholders to capture and validate requirements.
- Document data flows, processes, business rules, and functional requirements.
- Coordinate delivery activities across multiple project workstreams.
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Support process automation initiatives from requirements through implementation.
- Review technical solutions and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
- Interpret and discuss complex calculation logic and technical documentation.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and project meetings.
- Produce clear analysis, reporting, and project documentation.
- Track delivery progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

What You Will Bring
Required Experience
- Strong Business Analysis and/or Project Delivery experience.
- Experience working on complex data-focused projects.
- Ability to understand data models, data lineage, and data sourcing concepts.
- Experience working closely with software engineering or data engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management across both business and technical audiences.
- Experience managing deliverables, timelines, and project governance.
- Confidence reviewing technical documentation and understanding code logic.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Financial Services, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, or Regulatory environments.
- SQL exposure.
- Process Automation.
- Data Governance.
- Data Warehousing.
- Agile delivery environments.
- Power BI or related reporting tools.
