Technical Business Analyst

London | Inside IR35

£600 per day

5 Month contract

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join a high-profile digital transformation programme within the public sector. Working on a large-scale data and analytics initiative, you will play a key role in bridging business and technical teams to deliver impactful solutions that enhance customer and visitor experiences. This is an initial 5-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

Their work has a direct impact on promoting destinations, supporting industry stakeholders, and improving engagement through data-driven decision-making. The Role and Deliverables

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements across data and analytics workstreams.
  • Act as the link between stakeholders, product teams, and data engineering functions.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Support the delivery of solutions built on modern cloud-based data platforms.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and requirement-gathering activities.
  • Ensure deliverables align with programme objectives, governance standards, and business outcomes.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience working as a Technical Business Analyst on complex data-focused programmes.
  • Proven capability in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working within public sector environments.
  • Exposure to the tourism, travel, destination marketing, or visitor economy sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, data engineering, and analytics ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience working with Databricks is essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
  • Experience supporting Agile delivery environments.
