We are looking for an Web Engineer to join our Digital & Technology Transformation Team.
Role Type: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: 40
Technology is central to this evolution. We are transforming our digital platforms and building globally scalable solutions across our mobile applications, internal platforms and third-party services.
You will bridge the gap between Product and Engineering, turning product ideas into clear functional, system and data requirements. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Architecture and Data teams, you will ensure features are clearly defined and ready for development.
The Role
- Translate product requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and process flows.
- Own backlog detail and lead refinement sessions with Product and Engineering.
- Map customer journeys, business processes, systems, APIs and data flows.
- Identify technical impacts, dependencies, gaps and risks before development begins.
- Define data requirements, ownership, transformations and quality expectations.
- Support Product with analysis to inform priorities and technical decisions.
- Maintain clear and reusable requirements, mappings and decision records.
- Ensure test scenarios reflect agreed requirements and business rules.
- Investigate defects and production issues across applications, APIs and connected systems.
- Connect local and regional requirements with our central Product and Engineering teams.

Who We're Looking For
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Product Owner within an agile product team.
- Experience translating product requirements into detailed stories and acceptance criteria.
- A strong understanding of systems, APIs, integrations and data flows.
- Confidence working with JSON, REST APIs and tools such as Postman.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data investigation and validation.
- Experience mapping business processes and identifying downstream impacts.
- Strong collaboration skills with the confidence to challenge and influence.
- Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- A detail-focused approach without losing sight of the wider product outcome.
- Experience within membership, subscription, health and fitness, retail or multi-country digital platforms would be advantageous. Exposure to Azure services, mobile applications or data and AI products would also be beneficial.
