Technical Business Analyst

Sitting within our Business Support Team, the Technical Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of our ecommerce platforms, functionality, and customer journeys. The role will have a strong focus on business process mapping and hands-on testing. You’ll work with teams across the business to understand and document how processes work, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.

You’ll take ownership of creating and maintaining end-to-end process maps, making sure they remain accurate as our processes and technology evolve. You’ll also be hands-on with functional, integration, and regression testing, making sure new ecommerce functionality works as expected and meets the agreed requirements before it goes live.

Working alongside our Lead Business Systems Analyst, you’ll help understand how ecommerce changes connect with our wider systems, integrations, and data. You’ll be involved throughout the change lifecycle – from understanding the requirement and mapping the process through to testing, UAT, and implementation.

Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Work with teams across the business to understand ecommerce needs, challenges, and customer journeys, turning these into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Gather, challenge, and document requirements, creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation that clearly define what needs to be delivered.
  • Assess how proposed changes could impact customers, internal teams, existing processes, and functionality, identifying risks, dependencies, and gaps early.
  • Help take requirements from initial idea through to delivery, making sure the original business need isn't lost along the way.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
