Oracle FLEXCUBE Technical Business Analyst

London - Hybrid
Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Oracle FLEXCUBE knowledge to support banking technology and transformation initiatives within a banking environment.

The successful candidate will combine a strong understanding of banking processes and end-to-end business flows with hands-on experience analysing and delivering changes across Oracle FLEXCUBE and associated banking systems.

This is a hybrid functional and technical role, suited to someone who can understand business requirements, translate them into functional and system requirements, and work closely with technology teams throughout implementation, testing and production delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements for Oracle FLEXCUBE enhancements and change initiatives.
  • Conduct gap analysis between business requirements, existing processes and FLEXCUBE functionality.
  • Produce BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, user stories and other functional documentation.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, technical teams and third-party vendors throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support Oracle FLEXCUBE implementations, enhancements and system changes.
  • Support functional and platform testing, UAT, production deployment and transition into BAU.
  • Analyse functional application issues and coordinate with technical teams and vendors to support resolution.
  • Understand and document end-to-end banking processes and system flows across areas such as payments, lending, treasury, cash management and branch operations.
  • Support system integration and data-related requirements across FLEXCUBE and connected banking applications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Ideal Profile

This role would suit someone who is not purely a technical developer or purely a Business Analyst. We are looking for an individual who understands banking operations and business flows, has strong Business Analysis capability, and possesses sufficient technical knowledge of Oracle FLEXCUBE to support system change, implementation, testing and issue resolution.
