Location: Norwich, Bristol, York, or Eastleigh (Hybrid Working)

Duration: 6 Months

Inside IR35

This is a contract opportunity for someone who is an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a proven track record of supporting large-scale business and technology change initiatives. You'll be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, quickly understanding complex business processes and translating requirements into practical technical solutions.

This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running, engage confidently with both business and technology stakeholders, and operate effectively with a high level of autonomy. You'll be experienced in delivering outcomes within agile and hybrid delivery environments and have a strong understanding of systems, data, integrations, and change delivery.

The successful contractor will be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on analysis, providing support across project delivery, requirements definition, stakeholder engagement, and solution implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project sponsors to understand business objectives and challenges.
  • Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Create and maintain high-quality artefacts including user stories, process maps, business requirements documents, functional specifications, and data mapping documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into clear deliverables for development and technical teams.
  • Support solution design activities by identifying impacts, dependencies, integration requirements, and risks.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Test teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support backlog refinement, prioritisation, and sprint planning activities within Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies effectively.
  • Contribute to successful project delivery against agreed timelines and milestones.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
