Technical Business Analysts (BAs) bridge the gap between business needs and technology. You’ll ensure solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with client outcomes.
Your Role
You’ll join the Digital Excellence community—a collaborative team of experts passionate about user-centred design, critical thinking and digital innovation. Our Technical BAs drive transformative technology initiatives across industries, ensuring seamless back-end functionality while bridging the gap between business and IT.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical user stories and features that shape product development
- Work with IT delivery frameworks and DevOps to optimise CI/CD pipelines for efficient, smooth project execution
- Analyse systems, data, processes to identify pain points and opportunities
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, architects and QA teams to refine roadmaps, prioritise backlogs, and ensure alignment between solutions and organisational goals
The role requires strong technical and business acumen rather than direct development; you’ll apply technical depth and business insight to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Your Profile
Must-have skills and experience
- Hands-on experience in technical design, software architecture, and data (e.g. schema design, data modeling)
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (SQL+, Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to clean, transform, and aggregate data independently
- Exposure to agile methodologies (scrum, SAFe) and familiarity with traditional waterfall projects
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Experience working in high-pressure environments with evolving priorities
Ideal qualifications
- Experience in Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services, Retail or Consumer Products
- Agile certifications (Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe) or technical domain credentials
- Understanding of AI direction trends, ethical considerations, and generative AI tools
- Development experience with Copilots and AI-driven workflows (e.g. documentation, automation, code generation)
