Technical Business Analyst – Counterparty Credit Risk (PFE)

Day Rate: £600–£700 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract: 6-month rolling contract

Location: London

Working Pattern: 4 days per week in the office

We’re supporting a leading global investment bank in the search for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a major risk transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the delivery of strategic Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) initiatives, with a focus on Potential Future Exposure (PFE) implementation within a complex front-office and risk technology environment.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in delivering a strategic risk migration programme, supporting the implementation of a strategic risk calculation platform and PFE capabilities. Working across Risk Technology, Quantitative Analytics, Front Office and Credit Risk teams, you will act as the bridge between business and technology, translating complex quantitative risk requirements into scalable technology solutions.

This role is suited to a technically strong Business Analyst with experience across Counterparty Credit Risk, quantitative risk methodologies and risk technology implementations within an investment banking environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
