Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Location

London, 2x per week on-site

Salary

Up to £65,000 + great benefits

You'll work on high impact implementation projects, combining technical expertise with business analysis, and gain exposure to sophisticated financial data, modern cloud platforms, and enterprise scale systems. It's an exciting environment where you'll use a cutting-edge tech stack to build data driven fintech software for major financial institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end to end client implementations alongside Project Managers within a Professional Services setting
  • Analyse client data sources from both business and technical perspectives, designing robust data ingestion solutions
  • Gather, define, and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clear scope and acceptance criteria
  • Build and maintain data connectors and perform complex data analysis to identify risks and optimisation opportunities
  • Produce high-quality technical and client-facing documentation
  • Apply advanced SQL skills to support data transformation, validation, and testing
  • Work closely with Engineering and QA teams to investigate, resolve, and validate defects
  • Contribute ideas to improve implementation processes, tooling, and service delivery
  • Act as a trusted technical point of contact for stakeholders across international client teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Technical Business Analyst or similar role within financial services
  • Advanced SQL expertise; (C#,.NET advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of database design, data architecture, and complex data models
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

  • Exposure to financial reporting, revenue management, or rules-based systems
  • Experience with testing complex data-driven platforms
  • Knowledge of BI tools, AI/ML solutions, or Azure/cloud-based technologies
