Job Summary

Flight Management is a mission-critical airline operations solution that supports the preparation of every flight before departure. Our products enable airlines to optimize aircraft loading, calculate aircraft weight and balance, generate regulatory-compliant load sheets, manage operational changes, and ensure flights depart safely, efficiently, and on time. These solutions operate within a complex ecosystem of interconnected products, services, operational processes, and external integrations where reliability, accuracy, and compliance are critical.

You will work within Agile product teams, collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Engineers, domain experts, and airline customers. Your mission will be to understand operational challenges, define scalable functional solutions, and bridge business requirements with technical implementation.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, technical understanding, and the ability to work across multiple systems and operational domains to deliver solutions that support airline operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and refine business requirements, operational processes, and customer workflows to ensure clarity and completeness.
  • Define functional solutions and translate requirements into user stories, business rules, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Analyse end-to-end workflows, system interactions, integrations, and data flows across interconnected products, services, and operational domains.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Engineers, domain experts, and customers to validate requirements and solution designs.
  • Support product development activities including backlog refinement, design reviews, functional validation, testing, and release readiness.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including specifications, process models, data mappings, decision records, and knowledge materials.
  • Investigate product issues, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product behaviour, operational workflows, documentation, or ways of working based on analysis findings and domain knowledge.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve analysis efficiency, research, documentation quality, knowledge discovery, and delivery effectiveness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
