Who We Are Looking For

Quanteam UK are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a project team within the Fixed Income space, focused on the re-platforming of a Fixed Income notes stack. The scope of the programme spans the full trade flow, covering pre-trade, post-trade, risk management and lifecycle management. The successful candidate will combine business analysis with hands-on Python experience, acting as a link between business stakeholders and technology teams throughout the re-platforming effort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the re-platforming of the Fixed Income notes stack across pre-trade, post-trade, risk management and lifecycle functions.
  • Gathering, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements for the notes platform.
  • Analysing existing processes and data flows across the notes stack to inform the design of the target platform.
  • Using Python to support analysis, data investigation and validation activities throughout the project.
  • Working closely with business users and technology teams to ensure delivered functionality meets requirements.

Technical Competence

  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst within the Fixed Income space.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income notes and their pre-trade, post-trade, risk management and lifecycle processes.
  • Hands-on Python experience applied to analysis and data-related tasks.
  • Experience of working on platform migration or re-platforming projects.
  • Ability to produce clear requirements documentation and translate business needs into technical specifications.
