Description

Aurora Energy Research is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support the cutover phase of a major Lead-to-Cash business transformation programme. The role will focus on understanding and managing the impact of moving from current-state processes, systems and data to a new future-state operating model across Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.

A key priority will be Finance cutover, including the move to a new Global Chart of Accounts, redesigned financial dimensions, revised posting logic, data migration, integrations, reporting and operational readiness for go-live. This is a hands-on contract role requiring strong finance transformation knowledge, structured analysis and the ability to turn complex dependencies into clear delivery actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess cutover impacts across Finance, Lead-to-Cash processes, data, systems, integrations and reporting.
  • Work with Finance stakeholders to analyse the implications of the new Chart of Accounts, financial dimensions, account structures, posting profiles and control requirements.
  • Document current-to-future impacts, dependencies, risks, assumptions, decisions and readiness gaps.
  • Support cutover planning, mock cutover, dress rehearsal, go-live preparation and hypercare transition.
  • Validate data migration and reconciliation requirements, including trial balances, open transactions, master data and finance reporting outputs.
  • Work with testing teams to ensure SIT, UAT and mock cutover scenarios prove Finance, integration and reporting readiness.
  • Produce clear, concise delivery artefacts including cutover inputs, impact assessments, dependency maps, readiness checklists and go/no-go inputs.
  • Provide structured updates to programme leadership and workstream leads, escalating blockers and decisions where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
