Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing transformation and support of the organisation’s retail technology landscape. The role focuses on business analysis across Oracle Cloud and other retail applications while providing operational support for merchandising, warehousing, stores, finance and point-of-sale systems. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are understood, documented and translated into effective solutions. The role combines project delivery and application support, requiring the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Understand, document and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
- Support the delivery of projects and enhancements across Oracle Cloud and retail business applications.
- Document system changes, new functionality and business processes.
- Design, execute and coordinate testing activities, including repeatable test scripts.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Manage system releases, including impact assessment, issue management and resolution coordination.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for business applications.
- Investigate application issues and critical incidents, coordinating their resolution.
- Contribute to IT governance, change management and release management processes.
- Create and maintain support documentation, user guides and operational procedures.
- Deliver user training and develop supporting training materials.
- Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and implementation partners.
- Present recommendations and findings to management.

- At least three years’ experience supporting and analysing retail business applications.
- Strong understanding of merchandising, warehousing, store operations, finance and point-of-sale (POS) processes.
- Experience of gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Experience supporting cloud-based business applications and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in workshop facilitation and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
- Strong documentation and process-mapping capability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive, collaborative and improvement-focused mindset.
