Technical Business Analyst – Private Markets

A strong opportunity to join a well-established financial services firm operating in private markets, based in London, working alongside their investment management team as a Technical Business Analyst.

This role spans front, middle and back-office functions, with room to lead change across a live portfolio of investments. The successful candidate will sit across business, technology and product, translating investment needs into practical delivery. Prior hands-on implementation experience within capital markets is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience implementing workflows within a capital markets environment.
  • A track record of managing fast-paced, cross-functional teams, ideally with exposure to systems design for alternative assets.
  • Experience as a Technical BA, Project Manager or similar, with a clear capital markets focus.
  • Demonstrable delivery experience across relevant projects through the full SDLC.
  • Solid working knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL).
  • Experience delivering within an Agile framework.
  • Familiarity with investment management platforms such as Aladdin, SimCorp or similar.

  • Strong analytical and delivery skills gained in relevant market sectors.
  • Previous experience as a business analyst (or similar) within capital markets.
  • A background that includes time within a technology consultancy.
