Role: Technical Business Analyst (Techno Functional)
Location: London, UK (Hybrid 2 days onsite/week)
Client: Infosys
Contract: Inside IR35
This is a Techno Functional role. We are looking for a resource who has excellent database knowledge, Insurance Domain knowledge, Reinsurance (specialty), Property & causality knowledge. The Business Analyst should understand the underlying system, coordinate with business stakeholders to confirm requirements, and be able to document the requirement in STTM document for Data Engineers to refer.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with POs to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and functional specifications.
- Perform source system analysis, data mapping, and create STTM (Source-to-Target Mapping).
- Support data validation, reconciliation.
- Coordinate with other teams as applicable (example - Beazley BAs, etc).
Required Skills
- Strong Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering skills
- Have a good understanding and experience in Insurance, Reinsurance (specialty) knowledge, Property & causality knowledge
- User Story creation for Dev team
- Source system analysis and data mapping
- STTM (Source-to-Target Mapping) – This includes Transformation logic & derived measure
- SQL (Snowflake and Legacy system) – Required for analysis and STTM creation
- Ability to interpret lineage & Metadata
- Conceptual model or Medallion layer understanding (Bronze->Silver->Gold)
- Soft Skills – Ability to talk to Business / PO to understand "functional specifications" and convert that to "Data Specifications"

Preferred (Good to Have)
- Experience working with Snowflake is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Experience in Agile environments and CI/CD practices.
