Role: Technical Business Analyst

Location: London, UK

Work mode: Hybrid - 3 days weekly from Central London

Type: 4-6 months Fixed-term contract

Years of Experience: 5-7 years

Budget: GBP 50-60K Annually

We at Coforge are looking for a Technical Business Analyst in London, UK.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in the banking sector, particularly in digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of banking operations and digital transformation, enabling them to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive project success.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for digital banking projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Strong technical documentation and writing skills, with the ability to create clear and detailed technical/functional documentation, including API documentation, process flows, data mappings, system specifications, and integration requirements.
  • Ability to work closely with technical teams to understand APIs, system integrations, data flows, and application architecture, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather and document requirements.
  • Develop process maps, user stories, and use cases to support project development.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of project objectives.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of digital solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector, with a focus on digital initiatives.
  • Proven ability to gather and document business requirements effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in creating process maps, user stories, and use cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
