Job Title: Technical BA
Location: High Wycombe or Farnborough
Duration: Until 05/03/2027
Pay Rate: £671 per day all inc. (PAYE through Umbrella)
Clearance required: Needs to hold SC
Hybrid: Expectation of 2-3 days on end client site per week, alongside occasional visits to client offices as required.
Job Description:
Technical Skills & Experience
- Lead workshops with users, SMEs, and suppliers to capture operational needs, use cases, and business processes.
- Develop and maintain operational use cases, user journeys, workflows, acceptance criteria, and operational outcomes.
- Elicit, analyse, document, and prioritise functional and non-functional system requirements.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability from operational needs through requirements, design, testing, and acceptance.
- Conduct impact assessments, gap analysis, and support requirements governance and change control.
- Coordinate requirements across multiple suppliers, facilitating clarification, alignment, and integration discussions.
- Manage dependencies, assumptions, system interactions, information flows, and supplier integration touchpoints.
- Define requirements for containerised/Kubernetes platforms, data fabrics, integrations, APIs, and data exchange services.
- Review supplier deliverables against requirements, use cases, and operational objectives.
- Support architecture, design, assurance, verification, validation, and acceptance activities.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, gaps, and inconsistencies across requirements and solutions.
- Produce and maintain key artefacts including use case catalogues, requirements specifications, workflow models, integration requirements, traceability matrices, and assessment reports.
- Apply strong requirements engineering, systems analysis, and operational process modelling practices.
- Work effectively within complex, multi-supplier technology programmes.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure delivery of operationally effective solutions.

- Experience of development practices, governance, process and policies (e.g. JSPs, secure by design, etc)
- Experience in similar UK Government Depts / Public sector involving critical national infrastructure/mission critical systems
