Technical Buyer - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) is seeking a Technical Buyer to support the procurement of low-volume, high-complexity components, manufacturing processes, and services for a variety of innovative engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing and purchasing process for designated projects and commodities.
- Identify and select suitable suppliers from the approved supply base, negotiating optimum quality, delivery, and cost.
- Expedite supplier deliveries and proactively manage supply risks and potential delays.
- Develop strong supplier relationships and identify new sources of manufacturing capacity where required.
- Support budget planning and cost monitoring activities.
- Act as a procurement subject matter expert, providing support and guidance to the wider business.
- Drive continuous improvement and seek opportunities to increase efficiency across procurement activities.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience procuring low-volume, high-complexity mechanical components.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently to tight deadlines.
- A collaborative approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Experience working within a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment.
