Job Description
The Technical Change Manager is accountable for the continued deployment, administration and evolution of the technology and data backbone underpinning the adidas account — the Omni platform and its Agentic Layer (OAI), the Planit media plan data entry stack, and account-level taxonomy governance. The role reports into the adidas Global Client Operations Lead and ensures the platform and data layer are configured, adopted and maintained to a standard that lets the account run with accuracy, efficiency and minimal manual intervention.
Working closely with ad operations, activation, data tech and analytics, the role is the account's technical owner for “the system underneath the system” — making sure the tools that power planning, activation and reporting are correctly set up, consistently used, and kept current as the account's needs evolve.
Key responsibilities
Omni platform & OAI (Agentic Layer) ownership
- Own day-to-day administration and continued deployment of the Omni platform on adidas, sustaining Omnicom-leading levels of usage.
- Configure and customise activation and automation platform consoles and capabilities, embedding governance and guardrails into how they're used.
- Own deployment of the Omni Agentic Layer (OAI) alongside Omni itself, maintaining clear working guidance on when teams should use agents versus the Omni Consoles directly.
- Source, build, curate and manage default and custom agents for adidas: vetting global default Omnicom Media agents for fit, sourcing and scaling custom agents from global and market discipline teams, and retiring legacy agents that no longer add value.
- Track platform usage and resourcing impact, feeding this into the wider operational transformation agenda led by the Global Client Operations Lead.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Planit & media plan data integrity
- Own the Planit media plan data entry stack for adidas, ensuring data is entered, structured and maintained accurately across markets.
- Define and codify best-practice approaches to using Planit within the planning and go-to-market process, so the tool is applied consistently rather than ad hoc.
- Partner with activation, data tech and analytics teams to ensure the technical inputs Planit depends on (knowledge bases, reference data) are proactively gathered and kept current.
- Drive automation and simplification of data entry and reconciliation processes to reduce manual effort, error and duplication.
Taxonomy governance (in collaboration with ad ops)
- Own account-level taxonomy structure and governance, working hand-in-hand with ad operations to keep it fit-for-purpose across markets and channels.
- Ensure taxonomy is correctly and consistently applied across Omni and downstream reporting/data tools.
- Manage taxonomy change requests, assessing downstream impact before implementation and maintaining a clear audit trail of changes.
- Support data accuracy and compliance by ensuring taxonomy discipline is embedded into day-to-day workflows, not treated as a one-off setup exercise.
Cross-functional technical partnership
- Act as the account's technical point of contact for platform and data questions from activation, ad ops, data tech/analytics and market teams.
- Escalate and help resolve complex platform, data or taxonomy issues, minimising disruption to delivery.
- Feed platform and data learnings back into the Client Operations community, contributing reusable playbooks, templates and configuration standards.
- Coordinate any access management requests across digital and other platforms to ensure the right users have the right access to adidas accounts as required
