Technical Co-Founder / CTO — HiyaCoach
Location: London / Hybrid
Type: Co-Founder
Compensation: Equity + salary following funding
The short version
I've built a live marketplace. Coaches are onboarding. I need a technical co-founder who's actually shipped consumer products before, to take this from "working web app" to "app people can't live without."
What HiyaCoach is
One place to find, compare and book the right coach. PTs, padel coaches, tennis coaches, yoga instructors, and eventually every kind of coach there is.
This isn't a pitch deck. The product is live. Coaches are joining. Real people are booking real sessions right now.
Why I need you
I've taken this as far as I can solo. The web app works. Now it needs to become a proper mobile product, built to scale, built to last. That's not a job for a freelancer or an agency. It's a job for someone who wants to own it.
What you've actually done before
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
I care about what you've shipped, not what you've managed. You should have:
- Built and launched real consumer apps, not just overseen them
- Shipped for both iOS and Android
- Built a two-sided marketplace, and know why they're architecturally different from everything else
- Wired up payments, ideally Stripe or similar marketplace infrastructure
- Built booking, availability and scheduling systems
- Built auth, profiles, messaging and notifications from scratch
- Solid backend, API and database chops
- Taken something from MVP to a product that holds up at scale
- Enough judgment on security and payments to sleep at night
- The instinct to make fast, pragmatic calls when there's no playbook
Bonus points for search/location, video, subscriptions, reviews, or matching and recommendation systems.
What you'll own
- Not tickets. Direction.
- The existing web app and stack
- The architecture for what HiyaCoach becomes next
- Native iOS and Android, built and launched
- Marketplace, booking and payments infrastructure
- The technical decisions that let this scale internationally
- The engineering team we build from here
- Product strategy and roadmap, alongside me

Where this goes
HiyaCoach isn't "a fitness app." It's the answer to "I need a coach," whatever that means for that person, PT today, padel coach tomorrow, something else entirely down the line. I'm building the company for that. I want a co-founder who sees that scale and wants it too.
This isn't for you if
You want a CTO title, a big salary, a team already in place, and a 9-to-5. That's not what this is. Some mornings you're deciding on architecture. Some afternoons you're fixing a bug a user found in the weirdest possible way. That's the job.
