Equity only until funding closes. We are in active investor conversations with leading European VCs and expect to offer competitive salaries once funded. This is a ground floor opportunity for someone who wants meaningful ownership in an Oxford spinout.
About Us
Vectis Biosciences is an Oxford spinout building a computational drug safety prediction platform. Given a drug’s molecular structure, our system predicts which adverse events it will cause and explains the exact biological mechanism behind each prediction, validated against independent experimental data.

We are in active investor conversations and looking for a technical co-founder or senior ML engineer to join at the ground floor.
What You Will Do
- Production infrastructure and on-premise deployment for pharma customers.
- Cloud API architecture and scaling.
- Pipeline engineering for large compound library screening.
- Model versioning, reproducibility, and security compliance.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong ML engineering background with Python and PyTorch or similar.
- Experience with computational biology, bioinformatics, or drug discovery is a strong plus.
- Someone who wants to build a production product not just research code.
- PhD finishing or industry background both welcome.
