The Opportunity 🚀

We’re partnering with an experienced founder who is quietly building a new applied AI company in London. The business is developing an enterprise “company brain” — a platform designed to bring together fragmented internal data and turn it into a trusted, intelligent layer that helps large organisations make better commercial and operational decisions.

This is an opportunity to join at the very beginning as Technical Co-Founder, taking ownership of the technical vision, architecture and delivery of the platform. While the company is at an early stage, a working demo has already been built, and the founder is in active C-suite conversations with several of the largest organisations in the initial target market.

The Role đź’»

You’ll become the technical counterpart to the founder and take ownership of building the company from the ground up.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is not a traditional CTO role where you inherit an engineering organisation. Initially, you’ll be expected to remain highly hands-on: designing architecture, writing production software, solving difficult data problems and working directly with early enterprise customers. You’ll also work closely with customers to understand how their businesses operate, identify valuable problems and translate those requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Think Forward Deployed Engineer meets Founding CTO.

What We’re Looking For 🔎

We’re particularly interested in people who combine exceptional software engineering ability with genuine experience solving enterprise data problems.

You’ll likely have:

  • A strong software engineering background with significant hands-on technical depth.
  • Experience designing and building production-grade data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Personally solved complex data ingestion and integration problems across messy enterprise environments.
  • Experience working with APIs, databases, semi-structured data and legacy or offline data sources.
  • The ability to work directly with senior enterprise customers and translate commercial problems into technical solutions.
  • A genuine desire to build a company rather than simply take on a senior engineering title.
