Role Description
The Technical Compliance Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of technical compliance frameworks across client engagements. This role involves translating regulatory and industry standards into practical, actionable requirements for technology teams, and ensuring that systems, tools, and processes align with relevant policies and guidelines. - Performing compliance assessments

The Technical Compliance Lead will:
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders
- Support audits
- Develop clear policies, procedures, and controls that support ongoing adherence to regulations
- Mentor team members
- Contribute to internal best practices
- Collaborate with clients to embed a culture of compliance and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical compliance, risk management, or IT governance, preferably within consulting or professional services environments.
- Strong understanding of common regulatory and industry frameworks (e.g., ISO standards, data protection and privacy regulations, information security controls) and their technical implications.
- Ability to analyze complex technical architectures, documentation, and workflows to identify compliance gaps and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating policies, procedures, technical reports, and stakeholder presentations.
- Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate with engineering, security, legal, and operations teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and evidence collection.
- Relevant academic background in information technology, computer science, engineering, law, or a related field; professional certifications in compliance, audit, or security (such as CISA, CISSP, ISO lead auditor/implementer) are advantageous.
- Experience working on-site with clients or in collaborative office environments, with a commitment to maintaining ethical standards and inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
