Lynx Recruitment is supporting an established and growing consulting practice seeking a Technical Consultant specialising in Microsoft Modern Work, Automation, and AI to join a growing digital consultancy. This role focuses on designing and delivering business-focused solutions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and emerging AI technologies.

You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, shape solution approaches, and support delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines strong consulting skills with hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and define business and functional requirements, including clear problem statements, scope, and success criteria
  • Conduct structured discovery sessions to align solutions with business objectives
  • Design high-level solutions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, practical, and aligned with governance and technical standards
  • Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery documentation
  • Support agile delivery processes including sprint planning and backlog refinement
  • Contribute to testing, validation, and solution handover
  • Build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Facilitate workshops, demos, and discussions, clearly communicating solution options

About You

  • Experience in consulting, business technology, or solution delivery environments
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (e.g. SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, or Copilot capabilities is advantageous
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process documentation, and translating business needs into structured outputs
  • Experience contributing to solution design, considering user experience, feasibility, and governance
  • Comfortable working in agile teams, writing user stories and collaborating across disciplines
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive, curious mindset with a focus on continuous learning
  • High level of ownership and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
  • Minimum of a 2:1 in an IT/Tech related degree
