Technical Consultant Manager
The Technical Consultant Manager is a technical leadership and customer-facing role, combining people management, AI enablement and technical consulting. The role leads a team of Technical Consultants across France and the UK, providing direction, managing escalations and developing the team through a period of significant change and adoption of new technologies. The role also contributes to client projects, with a strong focus on data migration, while identifying opportunities to leverage AI to improve the efficiency and quality of Technical Consulting. Success requires strong leadership, communication, structured problem-solving and the ability to operate effectively within a matrix organisation.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Technical Consultants across France and the UK, providing coaching, direction, performance support and prioritisation.
- Develop and execute a clear 3–6-month plan for the team, balancing people priorities, project delivery, business requirements and changing technologies.
- Manage internal and client escalations, quickly identifying root causes, evaluating options and determining the appropriate route to resolution or further escalation.
- Drive the adoption and practical application of AI within Technical Consulting, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, problem-solving, technical delivery and client enablement.
- Act as a technical leader and contributor on client projects, working directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Oversee data migration and ETL activities, including data analysis, mapping, transformation, validation and resolution of complex migration issues.
- Support integrations between ANAQUA and other platforms or systems, including batch processes and software development where required.
- Work effectively within a matrix organisation, collaborating with Project Managers, Business Consultants, technical teams and wider stakeholders to coordinate priorities and communicate progress.

Managerial Requirements
- Proven people management and technical leadership experience, ideally managing consultants, technical specialists or implementation professionals in a customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage team priorities, performance, development and escalations, with the judgement to make decisions and know when to involve wider stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing client relationships and working effectively across a matrix organisation.
AI Experience
- Practical experience using AI tools, with an understanding of how AI can be applied to improve technical consulting and team productivity.
- Demonstrated curiosity and ability to identify and implement opportunities to incorporate new technologies and AI into existing ways of working.
Technical / Contributor Skills
- Strong technical background with C# and ASP.NET, alongside advanced SQL skills including queries, stored procedures and views, and a solid understanding of relational databases.
- Significant experience in data migration, ETL and data transformation; experience with K2View or comparable data migration tools is highly desirable.
- Experience with systems integration, software implementation or technical consulting, with the ability to analyse complex problems and communicate solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
- Intellectual Property experience is advantageous and training will be provided.
