Technical Coordinator

Location: Bridgwater

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week

Contract: Permanent

At Müller, we're committed to delivering high-quality dairy products to millions of consumers across the UK. We're looking for a Technical Coordinator to join our Bridgwater Dairy and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

About the Role

As Technical Coordinator, you'll provide governance and ownership of site food safety and quality systems, helping to ensure the delivery of best-in-class products while driving continuous improvement across the dairy. Working closely with operational teams, you'll support compliance, audits, and quality performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and support in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality performance across site
  • Support problem-solving activities and quality investigations
  • Build quality capability and understanding across operational teams
  • Support quality control responsibilities within operations
  • Produce and maintain Quality Index reports
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external audit activities
  • Build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Deliver continuous improvement projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business performance
  • Support colleagues in demonstrating continuous improvement through PDP objectives

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in a Technical role
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in using A3 problem-solving methodologies
  • Knowledge of retailer codes of practice
  • Experience supporting or leading BRC audits
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • HACCP Level 3 qualification
  • Food Safety Level 3 qualification
  • Advanced Food Hygiene knowledge
  • Understanding of microbiology principles
  • Dairy industry experience is highly desirable
