Elite Talent Hub is hiring a Technical Coordinator – Bespoke Joinery on behalf of a leading Irish manufacturer.
This permanent, full-time role is based in Edenderry, Co. Offaly with an annual salary of €40,000 – €45,000 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Coordination & Ownership
- Review Packages: Audit architectural, interior design, and tender documents for bespoke joinery packages.
- Manage Evolution: Take technical ownership of joinery elements as projects transition into detailed design and manufacturing.
- Resolve Issues: Identify missing data, design conflicts, and technical queries early. Partner with architects, designers, and main contractors to find solutions.
- Documentation: Keep precise records of technical decisions, approvals, and outstanding actions.
CAD & Production Integration
- Shop Drawings: Coordinate the development of shop drawings alongside the internal CAD/design team.
- Verify Buildability: Review drawings for manufacturing readiness, installation efficiency, and alignment with surrounding building finishes/services.
- Workshop Support: Liaise closely with workshop, CNC, and production teams to optimize construction methods and resolve live manufacturing queries.

Site Operations & Procurement
- Surveys: Coordinate and carry out physical site surveys to integrate accurate real-world dimensions into production drawings.
- Submittals: Review materials, ironmongery, finishes, and specialist components. Assist with samples and official product approvals.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- Joinery Expertise: Strong background in bespoke joinery, fitted furniture, cabinetry, or architectural joinery.
- Production Literacy: Deep understanding of joinery construction methods, raw materials, hardware, and modern workshop processes.
- Drawing Comprehension: Advanced ability to read and interpret design drawings, identifying technical gaps before they reach production.
- Soft Skills: Confident communicator capable of challenging details constructively and managing multiple live projects simultaneously.

Desirable Skills
- Software: Experience with AutoCAD and modern joinery manufacturing/CNC workflows.
- Sectors: Previous experience in commercial interiors, high-end fit-outs, or furniture detailing.
