Technical Co-ordinator

Location: Hardham – you will also need to be willing to travel across multiple sites in Sussex and have a current full driving licence.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week plus standby cover on a X-in-10 rota basis

Salary: Starting salary up to £41,500 per annum (depending on skills and experience), plus additional standby and call-out payments

About the Role

Join our Water Production Team to help uphold compliance standards and support operational performance across our Hardham site and surrounding areas. You’ll carry out audits to ensure cleanliness, safety, environmental management, and routine maintenance activities meet internal and regulatory requirements.

This role involves close collaboration with Field Performance Managers, assisting with planned work, coordinating operational activity, and supporting the team during unplanned events or health and safety risks. You’ll also manage unannounced regulatory spot audits and liaise professionally with contractors and governing bodies.

Travel between operational sites is required, and you’ll participate in a standby rota approximately 1-in-10. You will also deputise for the Field Performance Manager during periods of leave or delegated responsibility, helping maintain operational continuity and team performance.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Carry out site audits to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and cleanliness standards
  • Support planned work and coordinate operational activities across multiple sites
  • Respond to unplanned events and assist in managing health and safety risks
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Manage unannounced regulatory audits and maintain professional relationships with regulators
  • Deputise for the Field Performance Manager when required
  • Update company systems and databases accurately and promptly
  • Participate in standby cover on a 1-in-10 rota basis
