About the Technical Coordinator job
The purpose of your role will be to carry out day-to-day quality checks and inspections on site, ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained. Complete and maintain accurate quality records and documentation, monitor CCPs, and ensure HACCP procedures are followed effectively.
Key tasks
- Support and lead internal and external audits, including BRCGS, while raising and investigating non-conformances.
- Manage customer and supplier specifications and support product compliance, labelling, and continuous improvement activities.
- Handle customer technical enquiries confidently and professionally, providing timely and effective support.
- Coordinate development samples and customer projects, ensuring requirements are understood and delivered efficiently.
- Maintain accurate customer information and CRM records while supporting the wider team.
- Work collaboratively across the business to ensure strong technical, quality, and customer support.

About You
The successful candidate will have experience within food manufacturing, food ingredients, or a related sector, with a good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and quality systems. Knowledge of BRCGS standards is important, with previous audit experience being a strong advantage, even in a supporting capacity.

- The Technical Coordinator job (ref:9098) is paying £30,000 - £35,000 according to your experience.
- The company is committed to supporting your development, offering a clear long-term career path towards becoming a Technical Manager for the right candidate.
- The site is in East Sussex and is commutable from Heathfield, Uckfield, Crowborough, Hailsham, Crawley, Eastbourne and surrounding areas.
- The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 17.30pm.
