Technical Coordinator

Hours: Monday–Friday

Reporting to: Head of Technical

Role Overview

We are seeking a Quality Systems / Technical Coordinator to support our food-packing operation. The role will focus on maintaining quality systems, internal auditing, external audit support, document control and general technical activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
  • Support compliance with BRCGS, customer and legal requirements.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits and follow up corrective actions.
  • Support BRCGS, customer and other external audits.
  • Manage document control, procedures, and quality records.
  • Assist with HACCP, risk assessments, traceability, and food-safety activities.
  • Investigate quality issues, complaints, and non-conformances.
  • Provide technical support to production and management.
  • Promote continuous improvement and high standards of food safety and quality.

Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Experience in a food manufacturing or food-packing environment.
  • Experience with quality systems and internal auditing.
  • Good understanding of food safety and document control.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable:

  • Experience with BRCGS.
  • HACCP / Food Safety / Internal Auditor qualifications.
  • Previous Technical or QA experience.
