Cyber Technical Business Analyst

Rate: £525 p/d Inside IR35

Location: London (4 days)

About the Role

The Technical Cyber Business Analyst (BA) primarily aims to enhance server access control and facilitate secure communication between servers within the organization. This initiative focuses on improving network segmentation, implementing identity and access management (IAM), and managing privileged access (PAM).

Main Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements regarding server communication and access control.
  • Document current and future access processes.
  • Create process maps, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and functional requirements.
  • Analyze privileged access to servers and identify gaps in security policies.
  • Coordinate workshops with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Support testing and implementation of IAM/PAM changes.

Key Requirements

  • Experience with Network Segmentation.
  • Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID).
  • Understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) technologies (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust).
  • Ability to create process maps and documentation for complex IT systems.
  • Familiarity with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) principles.
  • Experience in coordinating workshops with technical teams.
  • Exposure to cloud-based IAM solutions.
