Technical Delivery Analyst

Competitive, dependent on experience
Daresbury, Hybrid (3 days in office)

TrustTech Recruitment are working with a well-established SaaS company who are looking for a Technical Delivery Analyst to join their team. As a Technical Delivery Analyst you will be working across customer requirements, software delivery and technical solution design, helping turn business needs into clear, practical requirements for engineering and product teams. You’ll have a varied role spanning discovery, documentation, testing and delivery within a modern software environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyse customer requirements to support proposals, statements of work and project delivery.
  • Lead discovery workshops and meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams and functional documentation.
  • Partner with engineering, product and delivery specialists to translate requirements into workable software solutions.
  • Help shape technical requirements and assess implementation options for new functionality and product changes.
  • Build a detailed understanding of the organisation’s SaaS platform, integrations and underlying technologies.
  • Carry out impact analysis and support feasibility reviews for enhancements and change requests.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning and wider Agile delivery activities.
  • Coordinate system, integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Support release readiness, implementation and post-deployment checks.
  • Maintain accurate project, delivery and requirements documentation.
  • Provide clear updates on progress, dependencies, risks and issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify opportunities to improve requirements, testing and software delivery processes.

Key skills required:

  • Previous experience as a Technical Delivery Analyst, Business Analyst, Delivery Analyst, Technical Analyst or similar within a software environment.
  • Strong requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills.
  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams and functional specifications.
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience collaborating directly with development teams.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to adapt technical information for different audiences.
  • Experience running workshops, discovery meetings and stakeholder sessions.
  • Knowledge of software testing processes, including system and user acceptance testing.
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with technical concepts and translating them into clear business requirements.
  • An interest in emerging technology and how it can improve digital products and business processes.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to assist with areas such as analysis, requirements documentation, testing or software delivery.
  • A proactive, commercially aware approach with a focus on customer outcomes and delivering practical solutions.
