Technical Delivery Lead-Business Applications
Location: London (Hybrid)
Director Level
Salary: Competitive + bonus + benefits
Our client, a leading financial services company, is looking for a senior delivery leader who can bring genuine command and structure to a fast-evolving, multi-stream technology agenda.
In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of technology delivery across concurrent initiatives across Microsoft platforms, working closely with business and IT stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take ownership of technology delivery end-to-end across three concurrent initiatives: Integration, Power Platform development, and AI & Data
- Take direct accountability for the development team's delivery output
- Facilitate planning and review cycles, working with Product and Technical leads to keep work appropriately prioritised and delivery-ready
- Provide delivery assurance - ensuring work is complete, tested and fit for release, and that delivery artefacts meet internal and regulatory standards
- Oversee delivery performance from external partners, escalating issues promptly and constructively
- Produce clear, accurate delivery reporting for senior business and governance stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery flow, quality and predictability across the function

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience operating at senior delivery leadership level, with genuine multi-stream leadership across development teams
- Direct experience taking ownership of a development team's output and driving it to delivery
- Strong grounding in Agile/iterative delivery practices; Scrum Master background or equivalent highly relevant
- Working knowledge of the core Microsoft stack: Dynamics 365, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Integration Services
- Experience working across both internal delivery teams and external/third-party partners
- Comfortable operating in a regulated, complex environment with high standards for delivery assurance and governance
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the gravitas to operate credibly at Director level across a distributed, international organisation
