The Opportunity

As a Technical Delivery Manager - NetOps, you'll play a key role in driving the delivery of network operations initiatives across multiple business units. Working within a federated environment, you'll coordinate priorities, manage delivery outcomes, remove blockers and help secure the technology services that support EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain.

You’ll join us on a salary starting of £65,440 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus. This role offers flexibility on location, alongside hybrid ways of working that support both collaboration and work-life balance.

You'll work with stakeholders across engineering, product and portfolio teams while leading agile delivery practices that support predictable, high-quality outcomes. From PI Planning and capacity management to vendor coordination and delivery assurance, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact across the organisation.

  • Proven delivery leadership across different federated teams, business units and complex environments
  • Strong agile coaching capabilities and the ability to embed pragmatic SAFe practices
  • Demonstrable experience of PI Planning, Sprint management, resource management and project management
  • Ability to transition solutions and technologies seamlessly to service and platform teams for ongoing support and operations
  • Technical expertise in Jira and Confluence for workload management and reporting

Although this is not essential, it would be advantageous if you have:

  • Familiarity with Networking principles such as LAN, Wan, wireless, mobile and voice technologies and systems. With a preference for Cisco and Meraki products.
  • Awareness of security engineering technologies including firewalls, email gateways, and exposure management tools.

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last five years.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of NetOps initiatives across multiple business units
  • Facilitating agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, reviews, retrospectives and PI Planning
  • Managing delivery roadmaps, backlogs and resource capacity to balance demand and priorities
  • Coordinating delivery from external partners while managing risks, dependencies and governance requirements
  • Supporting the transition of solutions into operational support teams to ensure long-term service stability
