  • Role: Technical Delivery Manager (9 Month Fixed-Term Contract)
  • Team: Software & Data Engineering
  • Location: Hybrid working from Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth or Southampton
  • Working Pattern: Full-time

Why this role matters: As Foot Anstey continues to invest in technology, data and digital innovation, the successful delivery of our technical change work has never been more important. This role sits at the heart of that journey, ensuring our engineering teams can deliver high-quality solutions that support our colleagues, enhance client experiences and enable the firm's ambitious growth plans. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll combine delivery leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement to ensure our teams can focus on delivering great outcomes.

In this role, you'll:

  • Lead and coordinate technical delivery activity across multiple projects, products and teams, ensuring technical delivery remains aligned to business priorities and strategic objectives.

  • Drive delivery planning, forecasting and continuous improvement activities across the team.
  • Coach and support teams in Agile ways of working, helping create a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on delivery performance within projects, using metrics and insights to support decision-making and highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as a key link between engineering teams, leadership and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the technical delivery lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
