About Assistive Solutions
At Assistive Solutions, our work is guided by five core values: Courage, Accountability, Diligence, Collaboration, and Excellence.
These aren't aspirational statements; they're the standards we expect every member of our team to demonstrate, in every role, every day. They shape how we make decisions, how we treat the people around us, and how we show up for the students and professionals who depend on what we do.
About the Role
As a Technical Deployment Agent, you'll play an important role in making sure every customer receives the correct software, licensing, and technical setup for their device.
Your primary responsibility will be the accurate and timely deployment of software across customer orders. You'll check configurations, maintain accurate system records, resolve or escalate exceptions, and help improve the processes that make our deployments reliable and efficient.
You'll also provide secondary support to our Technical Support function when required, helping to respond to customer queries and maintain continuity of service during busy periods or staff absence.
This role would suit someone who is organized, technically confident, and highly detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and a commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Deployment
- Prepare and deploy software installation links and packages in line with customer orders and company procedures.
- Verify that the correct software versions, licenses, and configurations are applied before release to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deployment activity, track progress, and confirm successful completion.
- Identify and escalate technical or process issues promptly to the appropriate senior team member or technical specialist.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of deployment processes, documentation, and working practices to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Technical Support
Technical Support is a secondary responsibility of this role. When required, you will:
- Respond to customer technical queries and support tickets to help maintain service levels during busy periods or staff absence.
- Troubleshoot straightforward technical issues and escalate more complex cases to the appropriate Technical Support team member.
- Communicate with customers in a professional, empathetic, and solution-focused way.
- Accurately log, manage, and update support tickets in Zoho Desk, CRM, and other assigned systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Our Values
Our values aren't separate from the job — they're part of how we expect the job to be done.
How you work matters as much as what you deliver, and we're looking for someone who demonstrates these values every day.
COURAGE — Initiative
The best decisions at Assistive Solutions come from people who act rather than wait.
Courage means taking initiative, speaking up when something isn't right, asking questions when something doesn't make sense, and looking for opportunities to improve your work and the way we work as a business.
ACCOUNTABILITY — Ownership
Accountability means owning the full journey of your work — from the moment a task or problem reaches you until it is resolved.
Take responsibility, follow through, keep people informed, and don't wait to be chased.
DILIGENCE — Consistency
Diligence isn't simply about working harder. It's about maintaining your standards consistently — even when the pressure is on, even when no one is watching, and even when “good enough” would be easier.
Accuracy and attention to detail are particularly important in this role because the quality of your work directly affects the customer's experience.
COLLABORATION — Shared Ownership
Every role at Assistive Solutions contributes to a wider customer journey.
Collaboration means taking shared ownership of that journey, helping solve problems rather than simply passing them on, supporting colleagues when needed, and treating the wider organization as one team.
EXCELLENCE — The Standard
Excellence isn't a destination; it's a consistent commitment to getting better.
It means looking for better ways to work, improving the experience we provide, learning from mistakes, and not settling for adequate when exceptional is achievable.
