The Role
The employee's duties will include, but will not necessarily be limited to:
- Entering, updating, organising, and maintaining project and technical data within the Company's software systems.
- Maintaining accurate electronic records, project files, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Using approved software platforms and systems associated with the Company's property, construction, building design, technical testing, and professional activities.
- Assisting with the preparation, amendment, and management of technical drawings.
- Using AutoCAD and other appropriate CAD software to prepare, modify, and maintain floor plans, layouts, drawings, and design information.
- Assisting with existing and proposed floor plans and building-design documentation.
- Assisting with technical information required for property development and building projects.
- Assisting with measurements, drawing information, schedules, and calculations where appropriately trained and authorised.
- Assisting with the preparation of documentation relating to building projects and building-regulation submissions.
- Maintaining appropriate version control of drawings and technical documents.
- Checking data and drawings for obvious inconsistencies, omissions, and errors and bringing any technical issue to the attention of the appropriate senior person.
- Supporting consultants, surveyors, designers, contractors, and other professional advisers as directed.
- Uploading and maintaining information on software systems used by the Company or its clients, partners, and professional bodies.
- Maintaining confidentiality of client, project, commercial, and technical information.
- Complying with the Company's procedures concerning data protection, information security, document control, health and safety, and quality assurance.
- Undertaking reasonable additional duties that are consistent with the Employee's skills, qualifications, and position.
