About the role

Acts as the technical bridge between Architecture, Delivery, Support and Security Operations, ensuring designs, standards and services are practical, deliverable and supportable.

Provides technical design assurance and governance across Network and Security services, ensuring consistency with approved standards, reference architectures and operational requirements.

Owns the onboarding, operationalisation and adoption of new Network and Security services, including emerging technologies such as SASE, FortiNAC and future strategic portfolio developments.

Works closely with project teams and support teams to ensure services can be successfully delivered, accepted into service and operated at scale.

Drives technical standardisation, repeatability, automation and continuous improvement across the Network and Security Practice.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the operational Technical Design Authority for Network and Security services, providing practical design governance and technical assurance.
  • Review and assure designs, low-level designs, implementation approaches and technical deliverables produced by Delivery, Professional Services and partner resources.
  • Assist with the design and maintenance of reference architectures, deployment standards, implementation templates and configuration standards in conjunction with the Architecture team.
  • Operate design review and technical assurance processes, challenging deviations where standards, supportability or operational requirements are not met.
  • Support the introduction of new Network and Security services through technical validation, proof-of-concept activities, service onboarding, operational readiness assessment and documentation development.
  • Develop deployment standards, build guides, configuration templates, operational procedures and support artefacts required for successful service adoption.
  • Work with Delivery teams to improve consistency, quality and repeatability across implementations.
  • Work with Support and Security Operations teams to ensure monitoring, documentation, supportability and operational acceptance requirements are incorporated into service designs.
  • Provide senior technical guidance and escalation support for complex or strategic Network and Security opportunities and deliveries.
  • Contribute to technical product strategy and service evolution through collaboration with Architecture, OCTO, Product and Delivery functions.
  • Identify opportunities for standardisation, automation and simplification that improve delivery quality, supportability and commercial scalability.
  • Deliver technical mentoring, training and knowledge transfer activities across Delivery, Support and Architecture teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
