Technical Designer & Draughtsperson

Key Responsibilities

• Proficient in Adobe Suite, Fusion, Vectorworks and SketchUp (other drawing packages are advantageous)
• Calculating dimensions, weight limitations, and measurements for designs
• Producing 2D and 3D CAD outputs, which will be fully annotated and workshop ready
• Creating diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs
• Ensuring all projects are built to the required production specification
• Regular communication and meetings with other departments, especially the account management team and heads of departments in the workshop
• Working to very specific deadlines and milestones
• Ensuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standards
• Identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies in relation to your business area
