Job Title: Technical Detailer
Town: Witham
Salary: circa £28,000
Our client is a long-established, world-renowned manufacturing company. Due to an increase in orders they are looking to recruit an additional Technical Detailer to process orders and produce fabrication drawings and documentation from client drawings.
Duties
- Read and understand architect/engineering drawings
- Identify window/door types, sizes, profiles, and hardware requirements
- Resolve discrepancies or missing information
- Transfer information from CAD drawings into configurator software
- Convert CAD drawings of windows & doors to produce fabrication documentation including profile cutting & machining instructions, bills of materials and technical CAD drawings
- Collaborate with fabrication craftspeople & technical support teams

Experience Required
- Experience working with configurator or design software such as LogiKal, SchuCAL, Klaes is preferred
- A keen eye for detail & accuracy is essential
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel & Word
- Must be able to read & understand CAD drawings
