Playground Games Technical Dialogue Designer

Playground Games is looking for a Technical Dialogue Designer to work alongside the talented Fable team in Leamington Spa on an agency contract.

About us

As a premier first-party Xbox Game Studio, we are passionate about creating genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and, most of all, fun. We are currently developing the next chapter of the beloved Fable franchise, and we are looking for exceptional talent to work alongside our team as we continue to bring this iconic fantasy world to life.

About the role

As a Technical Dialogue Designer, you’ll use your skills and experience to deliver world-class dialogue for Fable. You will take content through the entire dialogue pipeline from pre-production, to recording, and final implementation. You’ll collaborate with other developers from multiple disciplines, championing dialogue and having a creative voice in discussions and reviews. You’ll have the opportunity to put your stamp on part of a unique and memorable gaming experience. You will also get the chance to work with actors and voice over directors to deliver top-tier vocal performances.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
