Technical Director – high care food manufacturing

Board-Level Technical Leadership Opportunity

Location: Home Counties – relocation or living away from home available
Salary: c£140-155,000 + executive benefits including car allowance and bonus

Some Technical Director roles ask you to maintain standards.

This one asks you to shape the future.

We're partnering with a highly successful, privately owned multi-site food manufacturing business embarking on a significant phase of transformation and growth. With an established customer base, ambitious plans for future development and substantial investment underway, we are seeking an exceptional Technical Director to join the Executive Leadership Team.

This is a genuine Board-level appointment with responsibility for leading the technical agenda across multiple manufacturing operations whilst helping shape the future direction of the business. The opportunity extends far beyond traditional technical leadership. You will be instrumental in evolving technical capability, strengthening organisational effectiveness and leading the technical strategy associated with the transition into chilled and higher-care manufacturing environments. You will also serve as the external face of Technical, building trusted relationships with customers and influencing stakeholders across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
