We are working with a Major homes developer with a national brand and an excellent reputation for delivery of high quality homes throughout the UK.
Due to internal restructuring, we are seeking an experienced Technical Director to take responsibility for the busy technical team based in Hampshire.
About the Role
We are seeking An accomplished senior technical professional with considerable experience within some experience working with the large Developers. Proficient in all areas of the technical development process ranging from pre-construction and planning to Architectural and engineering coordination to site completion and operations, you will be responsible for managing a large in-house planning & design team consisting of Town Planners, Architects, Architectural Technologists, Civil & Structural Engineers and Project Managers.

With your team you will be responsible for establishing design programmes and specifications for each project in accordance with agreed budget parameters and monitoring during the build programme. Overseeing the development and production of a standard range of house and apartment types and standard details to meet all requirements. Additionally you will be Instructing and reviewing technical viabilities for all new land acquisitions, Attending management meetings on a weekly basis and attending Board Meetings on a bi-monthly basis to report on progress.

Requirements
We are seeking candidates looking to continue their career with a Tier one Developer, with recent relevant experience, and the skill and drive to further develop a high functioning team, The role will be office based, with some small amount of flexibility if required, but predominantly office based visiting projects as necessary.
