Building on a proven track record to date, the company is now increasingly being called upon to deliver solutions on larger projects in London and the South East which is providing the core to the business.
Job Opportunity
We are looking to recruit a Technical Drafter based in Borehamwood.
What We Are Looking For
- A highly motivated individual looking for a challenging career within the construction industry
- Proficient in Revit and Microsoft Office
- Experience in 3D modelling is essential
- Knowledge of concrete frame construction
- Ability to read engineers' structural drawings
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organizational skills
- Fluent English Language skills are essential

The Role

Temporary Works Design Drafter
- Production & Checking of Drawings/Kit lists.
- Calloffs/Kit lists based on working designs.
- Develop a working knowledge of the equipment JRL owns and uses across our sites.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of drawings to comply with project requirements.
- Design Team
- Assisting with Management of Internal & External design teams with the aim of meeting the ongoing project requirements.
- Assist in training for new & existing drafters where required.
- Project Management.
- Liaising with our Sites, Project Personnel & Formwork Yard to resolve problems as they arise.
- Management of submission dates in line with project developments.
- Assist in Document controlling.
- Site / Yard/ Fabrication Interactions.
- Occasional live site & yard visits for Training, Inspection or Planning purposes.
- Visits to determine feasibility of schemes or installation details.
- In-person checking of fabrication work as and when required.
