Technical Engineer – Residential Housebuilding

Are you an Engineer with experience in residential development or housebuilding who enjoys solving technical challenges and seeing projects progress from concept through to completion? We are looking for a proactive and driven Engineer to join a busy Technical team, supporting the delivery of high-quality residential developments across the region. This is a great opportunity for an Engineer looking to take ownership of technical and infrastructure matters, work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, and play a key role in getting developments successfully delivered.

The Role

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting infrastructure and technical matters from early feasibility through to onsite delivery and completion. You will work closely with Construction, Commercial and other internal departments, as well as utility providers, consultants, local authorities and other external stakeholders, ensuring developments remain on programme and are delivered in line with technical requirements and approvals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
