Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Technical Engineer and Trainer role based in Newton Abbot but with the requirement at times to provide onsite customer support across the UK.
The role includes designing and delivering technical training sessions for customers and internal teams, creating clear training materials, manuals, and guides, and ensuring users can operate equipment safely and effectively. Day-to-day responsibilities involve:

The individual will also contribute to continuous improvement of training programs and technical processes based on feedback and field experience.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Technical Training and experience working as a Technical Trainer, with a focus on equipment or system-based environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Training & Development, including designing, delivering, and evaluating technical training programs.
- Effective Communication and Training skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way to diverse audiences.
- Relevant technical experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment engineering; prior exposure to cleaning systems or similar industries is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, create user guides, and maintain accurate training and service records.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards.
- Comfort working on-site in a hands-on environment, including occasional travel to customer locations as needed.
- Formal technical qualification (e.g., vocational certificate, diploma, or degree in engineering or a related field) preferred but equivalent practical experience will be considered.
