Job Title: Technical Engineer Masonry Support Systems

Location: Thames Valley (3 office based / 2 days working from home)

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus & full benefits package

Role Overview

The role of the Technical Engineer Masonry Support Systems will involve:

  • Senior Technical Engineer position dealing with a high quality range masonry support systems
  • Managing projects from tender through to completion
  • Production of GA layouts and sections, manufacture and setting out drawings
  • Responding to technical enquiries from customers and liaising with suppliers to obtain further technical literature where required
  • Read technical drawings provided by architect, façade and structural engineers drawings, liaising directly with respective parties to develop and detail efficient solutions meeting the clients requirements
  • Prepare and provide CPDs to clients to improve their knowledge of product range
  • Develop technical specification by preparing detailed technical submissions including all necessary drawings and calculations
  • Working on projects varying in value from £50k to £500k+

Requirements

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Engineer Masonry Support Systems with:

  • Must have a construction related degree
  • Ideally within structural or civil engineering degree (BSc/BEng)
  • Must have working knowledge of related systems such as; masonry support, fixings, anchoring systems, restraint systems, precast concrete systems, glass façade fixings, brickwork cladding, brickwork fixing systems, fasteners or associated market sector
  • IT literate
  • Genuine get up and go work ethic
