Technical Facilities Manager
Location: Cobham Training Ground
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Technical Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance, compliance and performance of our facilities across Cobham Training Ground and Kingsmeadow. This is a key role responsible for ensuring our buildings, infrastructure and technical services operate safely, efficiently and to the highest professional standards. Working across a diverse and fast-paced estate, you will drive maintenance programmes, manage specialist contractors, oversee statutory compliance and support projects that enable elite performance on and off the pitch.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planned and reactive maintenance across all facilities and infrastructure.
- Manage statutory compliance, inspections, certifications and audits.
- Oversee electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Manage specialist contractors, service providers and maintenance contracts.
- Ensure effective management of fire safety, water hygiene and building safety requirements.
- Oversee cleaning, waste management, pest control and environmental services.
- Monitor utility consumption and support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage the CAFM system, asset registers and maintenance reporting.
- Deliver refurbishment, improvement and facilities projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Drive high standards across all facilities to ensure an exceptional environment for players, staff and visitors.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in facilities, estates or technical services management.
- Strong knowledge of building services, M&E systems and facilities maintenance.
- Experience managing statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.
- Ability to manage contractors, budgets and service-level agreements.
- Experience using CAFM systems and asset management processes.
- Strong project management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Relevant facilities, engineering or building services qualification desirable.
- IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification desirable.
