Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Services Field Support to join us, field based covering our South Midlands and South West regions. Within this role, you will be expected to support offices/sites around these regions based on weekly requirements. Reporting into the Technical Services Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role within the business, delivering high value service and expertise to our nationwide regional offices and remote sites. They will champion IT and business initiatives and be a focal point, assisting/training the regional and site teams to adopt technologies. The role will play a key part in the successful coordination, delivery, in-life support, and removal/re-deployment of digital technology solutions utilised by our business.

The daily duties of the Technical Services Field Support will be varied in scope and complexity, and therefore the individual should have a sound and broad technical knowledge, an eye for detail, coupled with good “hands on” practical skills e.g., working at height, using power tools, and installing a variety of technologies, equipment and cabling. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge and hands on experience of Microsoft products and technologies, with knowledge of infrastructure, applications, and networking technologies and the ability to deploy, configure and troubleshoot effectively.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Driving is an essential part of the role and therefore applicants should hold a relevant UK Full Clean driving licence. A company van will be provided. Due to the field-based nature of the role, applicants will need to be able to be flexible to meet business requirements with travel.
Any experience in a similar field-based role, specifically in a mixed technology environment, would be desirable but is not essential, as for this role we are willing to provide full training to applicants with the right attitude and ability level. If this sounds like you, please apply now.
